Crimean community of Kyiv expresses disquietude about the situation in the Kyrgyz Republic,
as well as about the number and magnitude of the disaster victims as a result of hostilities in the
Crimean Community of Kiev mourns with those who had lost in the conflict their loved ones,
relatives and friends.
We demand from the international community decisive action to stabilize the situation in the
region and overcome the humanitarian crisis.
We believe that coordinated efforts of the international community and governments to tackle
the complex socio-economic and humanitarian situation will prevent the repetition of such tragic
events in the future.
After the deportation of Crimean Tatars on May 18, 1944 by the Soviet totalitarian regime
to the Soviet republics of Central Asia, including Kyrgyzstan, not all the Crimean Tatars were
able to return home and can now be in the midst of murderous events. We urge the Ministry for
Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to facilitate their return to their homeland, the Crimea.
