Early in the morning of May 31, Israel naval attacked a flotilla of six vessels carrying humanitarian aid which was leaded by the turkish ship Mavi Marmara in international waters 64 kilometers off the coast of the Strip Gaza.
Humanitarian aid was intended for a 1.5 million population of the Gaza Strip, which is on the verge of humanitarian catastrophe.
There are numerous casualties, as a result of the attack, which caused a wave of outrage and protest by the international community against the actions of Israeli forces.
We express strong rejection of the actions aimed at the obstruction of the humanitarian assistance to Gaza and strongly condemn the attack on civilians. We demand from the international community and country- initiators of the humanitarian assistance to give a proper assessment of the crime and to take immediate appropriate actions for punishment of the perpetrators and establishing stability in the region.
