The CEC has approved quotas for Qurultay delegates

   The Central Election Commission has approved quotas for Qurultay delegates within the administrative-territorial units.

    February 1, 2013 regular meeting of The CEC of Qurultay approved the quotas for Qurultay delegates within the administrative-territorial units of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kiev, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.

   Thus, in accordance with the decision of the CEC, quotas for delegates of the Qurultay of the VI convocation represent as follows:

  The CEC also decided to convey information about the quotas personally to each Head of the regional Mejlis and recommend them to submit their proposals for the planned number of multi-member constituencies, the number of elected delegates, constituency boundaries, indicating members of the Crimean Tatars and their families living there. CEC members also unanimously approved the previously accepted form of the election documents, according to the "Regulations on the election of delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people."

  On the next meeting, the CEC is going to approve number and boundaries of multi-majority constituencies and their numbering, according to the regional Mejlis proposals.
