   A memorial service was held in the House of Culture of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Say goodbye to the outstanding Ukrainian politician, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, leader of the "People's Movement" came the Ukrainian leadership. Among them - the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak, Vice Premier Konstantin Gryshchenko, former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States and Oleg Belorus third President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.

   Aleksey Skorik, the assistant of the MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev and Aslan Umerov, Head of the Assosiation of Crimean Tatars in Kyiv placed a wreath with the inscription "Від Меджлісу кримськотатарського народу" on behalf of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

  February 12, 2013, Gennady Udovenko died at the age of 82-years. He was well-known Ukrainian politician, a career diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs (1994-1998), President of the 52nd session of the UN General Assembly (1997-1998), head of the People's Movement of Ukraine (1999 - 2003), MP of the III-V convocation.

  Gennady Udovenko as outstanding MP and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on Human Rights, National Minorities and International Relations defended the rights of the Crimean Tatar people, was sincerely glad Crimean Tatars return to their homeland.

  Gennady Udovenko will be remembered by all grateful Crimean Tatars and all the citizens of Ukraine!
